Sri Lanka Vs Australia Live Streaming Cricket - 1st T20

Sri Lanka Vs Australia Live Streaming Cricket

Update: 3rd ODI begins today as SL bats first

After a long rest, Australia returns back to International cricket scenario. Cameron White will lead the national team for the first time as they play Sri Lanka for a tour of about two months. Pallekele will host both the T20 matches.

Sri Lanka being the host would be the favourites considering the fact that in the recent past Australia has completely lost their form. On similar lines even Sri Lanka just returned from an unsuccessful tour to England. They tasted defeats in ODI and test series. The only thing to cheer about was a T20 match victory in England.

Strike bowler Lasith Malinga is injured and probably Kulasekara may get a place in the playing eleven. Australia once the best team in the world is struggling to regain the pride. Playing in alien conditions would be a big challenge for them.

Sri Lanka Vs Australia 2011 Cricket Series News

Sri Lanka Vs Australia Live Streaming

Australia tours to Sri Lanka for a long series which includes 5 ODIs, 2 T20s and 3 Test matches. A long and a tough one for Australia as they aren't in the best of their forms. A team once known to be indispensable has lost its lustre. They are eager to bounce back to the top of all forms of cricket. They have slipped down miserably in the test rankings and striving hard to enter top four to qualify for test championship. In the ODIs they still remain at the top of the rankings but India who sits on second spot are the World Cup Winners.

Michael Clarke and Tim Nielsen
The current coach of Australia, Tim Nielsen terms this tour as a daunting challenge for Australia. He is well aware of the fact that his team is trying to regain the lost momentum of regular wins. He added that this is a real tester for skipper Michael Clarke.

Australia lost two Ashes series on the trot and also lost to India badly in a test series followed by exit through the World Cup at the hands of India. So the Australian team have seen a big down trend in their performance in recent past. A must for them to revive and retain the lost glory.
